Tryouts will be conducted at Cypress Run Golf Club the
2010 Home of the Eagles.
All players interested in trying out for
the Eagles Golf Team must complete the mandatory school board paperwork to
include; Copies of Physicals, Participation Forms, School Insurance prior to
tryouts.

Run will be the new home of The East
Lake Eagles Golf
Team. We are very fortunate to have
such a fine golf facility to call our home.
The Eagles are the Regional Champs !!!!!
The Eagles won the Regional
Championship and will advance to the State Finals for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE
YEAR....BACK TO BACK TO BACK. The Eagles were led by Seniors Logan Hand 76,
Jake Johnson 76, Sebastian Hilpl 78 and Linzy Clark. The Eagles will travel to Ocala to play at The Country Club Of Silver Springs Shores. They will compete on Tuesday and
Wednesday in a 36 hole competition. GO EAST LAKE
The Eagles Set Another
School Record at the Vinoy Classic
The Eagles won their
third Invitational this season defeating all of the Pinellas County Public and
Private Schools. The Eagles shot a team record 288 !!!!!.The
Eagles were led by Logan Hand 69, Terry O'Reilly
73, Linzy Clark 73, and Jake Johnson 73. The Eagles
won the tie breaker defeating rivals Calvary Christian for the THIRD TIME this
season.......
The Eagles set a School Record
The Eagles shot a
team record at the Crutchfield Invitational at Sebring. Linzy
Clark led the team with a 66, followed by Terry O'Reilly 70, Sebastian Hilpl
75 and Logan Hand's 78. The Tournament is currently under protest as the Eagles
were declared winners initially, however it was over turned later in the date
after all the scores had been posted. The matter now lies in the hands of
FHSAA. We are awaiting their final decision as to the victors. The controversy
started as Logan Hand initially was awarded relief from a
aeration hole which was clearly defined in the local rules sheet. The Head
Professional agreed and awarded Logan relief,
after an extended period of time and congratulations were received from Sebring High High
School, host of the Tournament and 1st place
written on the scoreboard, the scores changed. The exact reason has yet to be
explained to the East Lake Coaching Staff, however a
playoff was played under protest. We will update once the result of the protest
is heard.
The Eagles lose close one at the Fox
The Eagles lost a
close match at Fox Hollow to Palm
Harbor University.
The Eagles were led by Terry O'Reilly
36,Linzy Clark 37, and Jake Johnson 39. The Eagles
shot 153
The Eagles win the Mustang Invitational by 11
The Eagles defeated
Calvary Christain or a second time in 5 days. The
Eagles were led by Linzy Clark who low round of 71
took medalist honors. Jake Johnson followed with 75, and Terry
O'Reilly and Logan Hand shot 77. This was East Lakes first title at the Mustang
Invitational.
East Lake
defeats Lakewood and Largo
The Eagles had a
convincing victory over Lakewood and Largo winning 167-213.
The Eagles were led by Terry O'Reilly's
35 and Jake Johnson's 44
Congratulations to
the East Lake Eagles Boys Team as they won the 4th Annual East Lake
Invitational. The Eagles Defeated Calvary Christian in a one hole playoff. The Eagles were led by Seniors Linzy Clark 75, Jake Johnson 76. Seniors Terry O'Reilly and Logan Hand made pars on the
playoff hole to clinch the victory.
Jonathan Kopsell of Ridgewood
High School was the
medalist with a low round of 73, followed by teamate
Austin Padova. Ryan Connors of Citrus County
shot 74, followed by Linzy Clark and Lee McCoy of

The Eagles return to
action this Wednesday at Wentworth against Osceola, Gibbs, and Lakewood 3pm tee time.
The Boy's Team
started the 2009 Season Season with an impressive win
over North County Rivals Tarpon Springs and Clearwater HIgh School. The Eagles
shot 161 as a team and were led by Seniors Terry
O'Reilly 38 and Jake Johnson's 39. The Eagles prepare to
defend their First Place Finish at The East Lake Invitational this Saturday at
Wentworth Golf Club. Shotgun Start at 1pm

Pre-Season Camp
August 6th thru the 9th at USF Claw. Coach Jim Fee Head Golf Coach of the
USF Bulls will host a camp. The Registration Fee is $275 and flyers will be
available soon.
Regional Champs !!!!!!!
The Boys team won the Regional
Championship held at Wentworth Golf Club. The Boys were led by Junior Linzy Clark who shot a 71 which was the low round of the
day. The team defeated Dunedin
by 12 strokes to head back to the State Finals for the second consecutive
year....
The Boys Team Defeated Dixie Hollins at East
Bay County
Club. The Boys were led by Jake Johnson 36 and Lincoln Dunham 37. The Boys remain
undefeated in Pinellas
County Conference
!!!
The Boys Team traveled to Sebring to play
in the Hawkins Invitational. The Boys finished 12th in a very difficult
field. The Boys were led by Freshman Dustin Dingus who shot 76 and Logan Hand with a 78.
The Boys Team defeated Osceola, Gibbs and
Boca Ciega in a rain shortened 5 hole
match at Bardmoor.
The Boys team
defeated Clearwater High School at East Lake
Woodlands. The Boys were led by Freshman Dustin Dingus 36, and Logan Hand 38.

the opening conference match at St. Pete Country Club. The Eagles were led by
Freshman Dustin Dingus.

Invitational at Wentworth Golf Club. The Boys were led by Terry O'Reilly and Dustin Dingus. The boys
tied for First Place
with Lake Brantley
of Orlando.
