The Eagles set a School Record

The Eagles shot a team record at the Crutchfield Invitational at Sebring. Linzy Clark led the team with a 66, followed by Terry O'Reilly 70, Sebastian Hilpl 75 and Logan Hand's 78. The Tournament is currently under protest as the Eagles were declared winners initially, however it was over turned later in the date after all the scores had been posted.  The matter now lies in the hands of FHSAA. We are awaiting their final decision as to the victors. The controversy started as Logan Hand initially was awarded relief from a aeration hole which was clearly defined in the local rules sheet. The Head Professional agreed and awarded Logan relief, after an extended period of time and congratulations were received from Sebring High High School, host of the Tournament and 1st place written on the scoreboard, the scores changed. The exact reason has yet to be explained to the East Lake Coaching Staff, however a playoff was played under protest. We will update once the result of the protest is heard.
